Our 2024 Badger Girls State attendees are shown next to the blue strip in each picture. Each year our school has the honor of sending students to participate in this unique experience. This year the following young ladies participated: Sarai Aguilar Hernandez, Malaina Telschow, Brianna Sheahan, and Aleah Frahm. Thank you ladies for representing Athens High School. And, thank you to our local American Legion Auxiliary for supporting this opportunity.
Today is the big day- Graduation Day has arrived. Our sincere apologies for not being able to livestream our commencement ceremony tonight, due to technical difficulties.
Congratulations to the Athens High School Class of 2024!
These three students brought home hardware again from the CWIMA welding competition. Last year all three placed in the competition and they repeated this year! They also brought home the award for the school with their hard work.
It has been a busy week in the Tech Ed department. Students participated in the Super Mileage Competition over the weekend at FVTC. Then students participated in a welding competition at NTC. We didn't get the results we would have hoped for, but we are proud of what these students have been able to achieve!
It was a joy seeing the students explore and experiences through all their senses. They were cold and wet... and happy!
Art club members took a trip to Ashland, Bayfield, and Meyers Beach last Thursday to see where art thrives in culture and to create their own!
Look at what 7th graders made in just two classes!
